1. Bloody Beginnings

I arrive at the 'Green Voice', a karaoke bar . I am given the name Fredrick Aldarice.
I have a private meeting with Ethan Hunt and Frederick Aldarice.
We exchange pleasantries.

We start talking about the murders. Ethan Hunt is with the police and he knows the place of the last murder: Norham (Above the park in the rich suburb). A Lawyer 'Jeremiah Maine' from the Foxcorp company was murdered in his house 2 days ago.

Frederick Aldarice tells us that we have no clue. I tell them about my run in with Blackcat, Ozz 'Deathstare guy' and Tank. We all take our own vehicles to the lawyers house. I arrive a couple minutes later than the others.

Jeremiah Maine's house was build with old dark wood. Its surrounded by a iron fence and a nice sized garden. I park my bike around the corner and leave my stuff there. Its snowing when we open the gate.

There aint a good opening into the house without leaving traces. We check the motorhouse after Ethan Hunt breaks the lock. We see a big ladder we could use to open a window. Also the opening to the house is barred by metal. We take the ladder and I successfully shimmy in.

I immediately smell al lot of blood on the 2nd floor. There is a big leisure hall with lot of bookcases and showcases of old medieval armours and swords and other old arms. I see this is the scene of the crime and it goes down. In the main entrance used to be a beautiful marble and was now totally splattered with blood from Jeremiah Maine.
Ethan Hunt begins investigating the crime scene but he gets really into it... Suddenly Ethan Hunt smashes a wall in anger and then calms down. Jeremiah Maine was Kinred, Ethan Hunt could smell the different kinds of blood. Ethan Hunt places a small crimescene number next to it to make it seem like they missed it.

We go upstairs to the library and investigate the start of the crimescene. This looks like kinred on kinred violence.

Questions:

Frederick Aldarice finds Jeremiah Maine's work computer and succesfully hacks it. A couple of years ago Jeremiah Maine got a new function with less day hours. ALso Jeremiah Maine seemed oddly interested into purchasing a lot of land in Downtown Detroit. He pays a fackton to keep his research and investigation on the down low. Its the size of a couple of streets with buildings on it and the old metro system is underneath that plot. Jeremiah Maine gives the explanation that Foxcorp bought the lot to repair the old and fallen metro system to prevent collapses. Foxcorp itself isnt totally aware though of how much money goes into this...
Not all the collectibles seem to be insured, and the ones that have been, have old insurances. Also 2 days ago he did have a weird gap in his otherwise full schedule. This doenst happen often.

There is no forcible entry at the windows. The doorlock is also fine. It is possible that the carpool door was used to get in, otherwise the attacker was let in or found some other weird entry. Ethan Hunt does find another cup in the library that was hidden underneath a bookcase. Both the cups were filled with alcohol, a brandy. They probably finished their drink.

Inside the master bedroom I find a painting of 2 samurai fighting in ankle deep water and behind it a safe. I cant see if someone opened it before but it does containt 2 very ornate daggers. One has a wavy blade of bronzeish color and the other has a curved golden blade. Both have red tassles and asian letters on it. There is space for a 3th dagger but it appears that the box all the daggers should be in, hasnt been opened in a long time.

We decide to split, Frederick Aldarice and Ethan Hunt visit the morgue for more info and to get the casefiles while Lily Smith gets some info from contacts.

Lily calls DJ Maddog about the subways. He doesn't know a lot but Vincent Blackwood wanted to open it for a long time. DJ Maddog tells me that Josh Fallstar should know more. I try to call Josh Fallstar but he doesnt answer. I left a voicemail to call me back later and then i joined DJ Maddog for a drink. We banter a bit

Ethan Hunt and Frederick Aldarice get to the morgue and see the bag of bits. It contains 4 limbs and a lower jaw. Using dental work they identified the body as Jeremiah Maine. While the clerk gets the faxed casefiles, Ethan Hunt gets a fingerprint of the body. There are some scars on the body that seem to have partly regenerated. Also there are some metallic shavings at the body.

We meet downtown in the streets that are Jeremiah Maine's area. I get a fridge magnet, a clear ashtray and some cigarrettes. Ethan Hunt figures out that the shavings are silver, meaning Jeremiah Maine's left hand was cleanly cut off with a silver weapon. This means that the body parts left behind are conveniently just enough to confirm the murders without showing him to be kinred. Also the body could be taken somewhere else in torpor.

The plot of land has 5 big appartment buildings and is low to medium income. about 40% seem foreign and 60% lower class white. I get up with Ethan Hunt to ask about disturbances because 'my nephew hasnt awnsered anybody in a couple of days'. Frederick Aldarice stays invisible in the lobby. We start at the second floor.
We hear classical music at a house. Its an older man who has a feud with the spanish lady who plays loud music. The man saw some youngsters with leather jackets and trenchcoats who are rumoured to push drugs. They deal around the carpark. A few months ago (4 to 5) there was talk of some man who bought up this whole lot from a women named Vivian Brooke who works for Telmar.

There is a construction site near an Italian restaurant where they are working because of a collapsed floor. This might give entrance to the subways. Ethan Hunt gets some gear to enter as a police. While i hop the fence, the merchant i bought the magnet from earlier, saw me. Luckily there are no others around so i can just use cloud memory. I open the gates from the inside and open it with some flair, expecting my friends to be there, but they arent there yet.

Ethan Hunt and Frederick Aldarice walk to the car but they see a big black guy at Ethan Hunt's car and the sneaky guy Frederick Aldarice saw before with the green trenchcoat. The big guy calls them slicks and says its their turf since the prince isnt around or hasnt been in a while. They seem to be the same group that harassed Josh Fallstar and seem to be Anarchs. We get free pass for the night.
They see recognize Frederick Aldarice as someone who fucked them over, and then Ethan Hunt accidentally discharged his shotgun.

We enter the building area with the italian restaurant in it. In the kitchen is a gaping hole giving direct access to the metro. We can go north or south. We walk north a bit and smell blood. We find a eviscerated corpse behind some grating with some still fresh warm blood in it. Ethan Hunt cant control his hunger and starts feeding quite noisily.
