Brother Jacopo is an older monk

On April 4th, 1969, Jacopo was found on the steps of the Orphanage Casa la Fleur in Turin. Jacopo was a tiny baby, bundled in some cloth with a piece of paper tucked in it that read 'Jacopo', hence the name. Jacopo was found by Theresa of Turin and they formed a special bond with them being quite fond of each other, almost like mother and son.
Jacopo grew up to be quite introverted and intelligent while occasionally talking about seeing spirits of people like his parents. This was waived as trauma from growing up as an orphan.

When Jacopo was 7 years old he met Belbo Bacon while he was visiting the orphanage. Francis took a great interest in Jacopo and his intelligence. Over the years Francis kept visiting and took Jacopo with him to the Abbey Sacra di San Michele. Over the years Francis made sure that Jacopo got initiated into the order of the Benedictines/Franciscans and grew up in the Abbey.

He studied places, came into contact with occult and esoteric books and studied those in other places like France. Maybe met Gaillard Rénard during study?

Synopsis: Got guided by mentor to turn in nature with wolves and assure a gentle introduction to being a Garou and keeping in touch with being a Franciscan. Belbo Bacon has secretly given up the fight but is looking for the next generation to take up the fight.

For the longest time, Jacopo was still busy developing himself. Belbo introduced Jacopo to the Benedictine abbey and Belbo noticed that Jacopo got pulled a bit more into the Benedictine life than was appropriate. To interfere and to strengthen Jacopo's spiritual insight Belbo made sure that Jacopo would travel to southern France and learn more about the Cabbalah and get a bit more insightful and rebellious. Jacopo had to do more of his own thinking and less blind following, but this took quite a long time. Luckily the life at the abbey was peaceful so Belbo was certain the first change would wait while Jacopo followed the Benedictine schedule.

After a while Jacopo started asking for more counselling and guidance from Belbo, asking about more esoteric and conflicting ideas, coming up with some of his own, with differing success. Once Jacopo started asking about the implications of (Obscure esoteric book) and their relation to current world events, Belbo knew the time was right and Jacopo should transform. By this time Jacopo was 38 years old, which is quite late to turn for a Garou.
